Two of Teachers will go for training this April.

Youth Mobilization will be sending two workers for Teachers' Training on April. Josie and Lerma are currently working as teachers. And for them to be part of this training will help them to be more effective in serving kids in our projects.  This is a two week training to enhance their teaching skills. For the first time! (DVBS Story)

Children Empowerment of Youth Mobilization is planning to hold a Vacation Bible School on April 28 - May 2, this year. As we are seeking the Lord where we will hold this, a church in Cavite came to our mind. We contacted the pastor and we got his go signal. So we made a schedule for a meeting to talk about the details of the VBS with church’s leaders. Just last week, we had a meeting with them. We were surprised to know that this will be their first time to hold a VBS in their community. They are excited to see how the program will run and they are looking forward to learn on how we will do it. Pastor said, they have many kids around the area who he thinks might be interested to join the VBS. They just don’t know how will they approach them and invite them to come in to church. So he thinks this might be a great way to build connection with kids and their families using activities like this.
